Our customers have chosen the Icelandic salmon leather in dark brown and “Yves Klein Blue” for their Kögurs. Our tannery has refined the fish leather with a layer of wax, which causes the scale pockets to settle and the surface to shine slightly. The wax layer also deepens the colour. The touch is smooth and supple. The cases are lined with a soft, velvety nubuck leather from cattle that was tanned in Germany using vegetable substances. The animals come from German husbandry.
